Ginger was born and raised in West Texas and came to Austin to attend UT. In 2011, Ginger started painting and studied oil painting with Patricia Lyle, an award winning artist in Round Rock, Texas. Ginger's mother was a painter and her father was an architect and so painting came to her quickly. Ginger currently teaches during the day at the school and at night at Painting with a Twist, Cedar Park . She loves to teach children and adults and thinks drawing and painting is a great way to relax, have a blast and learn a little about art. Ginger's favorite artwork, she says, are her 2 children, a middle schooler at Cedar Valley Middle School and a high schooler at McNeil. She volunteers in her community and for the PTA.
